Tainan Asia-Pacific International Baseball Training Center New Construction Project
Client: Public Works Bureau, Tainan City Government
Project Description:
Located in Annan District, Tainan City, adjacent to the National Museum of Taiwan History, this project covers a site area of approximately 302,700㎡, forming a comprehensive fan-shaped sports district. The facility includes:
- Main stadium with 8,000 spectator seats (4-story RC structure)
- Secondary stadium with 1,000 spectator seats (2-story RC structure)
- Construction using open-cut excavation methods
To accommodate the WBSC U-12 Baseball World Cup, scheduled to be held in Tainan in July 2019, the project was developed in phases. The second phase will further expand the multi-functional sports complex, creating a fully integrated Asia-Pacific International Baseball Training Center. This facility aims to provide top-tier training grounds for professional baseball teams, national teams, and amateur teams across Asia, while also serving as a venue for international competitions.
